Retired Jersey

Brookland-Cayce recognized 2001 alum Troy Lesesne in 2005 by retiring his Bearcat soccer jersey #4, thus becoming the first player in program history to have his jersey retired. Lesesne was a standout at Brookland-Cayce from 1998-2001 and led the Bearcats to their first Lower State Championship his senior year and went on to become a collegiate All-American at the College of Charleston and the Bearcats' first alum to play professional soccer with a three-year stint with the Charleston Battery of the USL First Division. Lesesne is currently the assistant coach at the College of Charleston.

2001 graduate Troy Lesesne finished his collegiate soccer at the College of Charleston in 2004 and played professional soccer in the United Soccer League First Division with the Charleston Battery for three seasons.  Lesesne is currently an assistant coach with the men's soccer team at the College of Charleston.
