Awards Banquet Rescheduled
Brookland-Cayce Soccer has rescheduled the
Awards Banquet for Thursday, May 30 at 5:30 p.m. in the BCHS Auditiorium.
Dress is casual. There will be no reception. All
boys/girls soccer players (Varsity, JV, B-Team) are expected to attend.
2013 Bearcat Soccer Camp
The 24th Annual Bearcat Soccer Camp will be
held June 10-14 at Northside Middle School from 6:00-8:00 p.m. The camp is
available for boys/girls ages 5-14.

USC Summer Camp
Brookland-Cayce's Varsity boys soccer team will
attend the
Mark Berson's Carolina Soccer Camp, June
28-30 at the University of South Carolina. Make sure you register with "Brookland-Cayce
HS" when filling out your camp application. Rising 10th-12th graders
are invited to attend this camp.
RLSA Summer Camp
The Junior Varsity and B-Team players will
attend the Ralph
Lundy Soccer Academy at Wofford College (Spartanburg) June 27-30.
Make sure you register with "Brookland-Cayce JV" when filling out your camp
application. Rising 7th-9th graders are invited to attend this camp.
Class 3A All-State Team

being named to the SCHSSCA Class 3A All-State Team.
Boys Varsity Captures 15th Region
Championship
The Brookland-Cayce boys varsity soccer team
captured the program's 15th Region Championship with a 5-0 win at Swansea on
Tuesday, April 23. B-C finished 10-0 in Region 5-3A. B-C has won its region 12 times in the past
20 years and three of the past four seasons.
Girls Varsity Captures 12th Region
Championship
The Brookland-Cayce girls varsity soccer team
captured a share of the program's 12th Region Championship with a 10-0
drubbing of Strom Thurmond on Tuesday, April 30 at The Cage. B-C finishes
tied with Swansea at 9-1 in the region. The Bearcats have won their
respective region three straight seasons.

Player of the Week

Brookland-Cayce advanced to the Championship
match of the 2013 Nike Palmetto Cup April 3-6. The Bearcats defeated Clinton
(9-1), Gaffney (3-2), and Walhalla (6-1) before falling to Class 4A #1 and
nationally ranked #2 Wando 3-0 in the final. This was B-C's first appearance in
the tourney title game since 1999. Congratulations to
Tyler Brazell, Herbert Cojulun,
and Scottie Newman on being named to the
All-Tournament Team!
